The Falcons need a TE desperately after losing Crumpler and Gonzalez locker has been reported to have been cleaned out in anticipation of this.
K.C. wants thier 2nd round pick back after giving it up in trade with NE so it all makes sense from Lombardi's report and I can see Atlanta dumping thier 2nd rounder for Gonzo.
I would think it would be wiser for the Falcons to deal in a draft trade back up into the lower part of the first round to grab Pettigrew but they may want a guy with experience before youth as it looks as if they might be an up and coming team based on last years cinderella season and want a proven TE to make an impact in Ryan's passing game.
