I've got a feeling we got a real steal in Ryan.

I remember reading all the Pre-draft stuff on him, and people were high on him...but there were quite a few CBs ranked ahead of him, mostly due to his 40 time. But, he really had a great rookie year. Very seldom was he beat, and even when he allowed catches, he was usually right on the receiver. He led rookies in INTs, so he can make plays as well. Not to mention, he's confident, he's got good veterans to learn from, and he's not asked to do too much just yet. If we re-sign Talib, and can somehow upgrade the SS position opposite McCourty (maybe it's Harmon?) then I really love our secondary heading into the future.

We'll start him against Miami to shut down Wallace twice a year though.
