Indy has 2 loses already, prob get 3 more. Same for Chargers. Buffalo and Jax can easily get 10 wins. The Jets maybe 9 or 10..(they too have an easy schedule).. Tenn maybe 11...Pitt...Denver..?

so, winning the division is the only way to guarantee a playoff appearance...

any speculation on what it will take for the 2 WC teams in the AFC?

I think you have to assume that 10 wins are required and if it appears differently in December, so be it. But for now, 8-5.

You're saying 8-5 for the rest of the season? I agree we'd need to do that. I think we'll go 7-6.

I think 10 wins will put a team in a tie breaker this year.

The Pats need to go 10-6. Doable, no matter who is at Qb, as long the defense plays smart physical inspired football.

Yep, need 8 more wins.

The NFC looks better than the AFC on the early returns anyway. Does that mean maybe a 9-7 team can sneak in the AFC? Tough to say.

I would think that Denver and San Diego are both going to win 10. There's probably a decent chance that two of Tennessee, Jax, and Indy win 10. Buffalo is in excellent position with their schedule. The Jets schedule is pretty simple the rest of the way too. All of those teams won't win 10 but I'd guess that, when you throw in NE and Pittsburgh, 6 will win 10. So there's your target number.
