Bret Lockett - DB - Patriots

Patriots S Bret Lockett is reportedly done for the season after tearing both his groin and abdomen in New England's preseason tilt with the Bucs on Thursday.
A special teamer, Lockett missed all of 2010 with a chest injury. If he does indeed land on injured reserve, this would be the third straight season he has done so. Although he's still just 24 years old, he's going to have a hard time landing a contract next summer with that kind of injury history.

That injury sounds worse than it looked on TV

I wish the kid luck but it appears his body is simply not made for the rigors of the NFL

I figured Lockett was done when I saw the injury. It was basically confirmed when the Pats signed James Indigo... Iglooo...ummmm... you know the former Jet guy.

Now that sounds like it would Hurt. An abdominal tear is one of the hardest to come back from, you don't know how much you use that muscle group until you damage it. Its not career threatning, but its hard just to sit up, or get out of bed without making it worse. It hurts just caughing.
