Let's talk the 2012 schedule.

15. 49ers: Another potential loss. They've had the best defense in the NFL for a few years, IMO, and Alex Smith finally made strides under Harbaugh in 2011. If health holds up on both sides of the ball for them, they should present a ton of problems for us. With the athleticism and sheer size of Willis and Navarro, they have two LB's that could take away our TE tandem.
Good point about their LBs. Oh well, I guess we'll target Lloyd or Wes in that one.

I am one that doubts the SF offense now that they have added the deep threats. I just don't see that as fitting in with their ground and pound field position game. I don't see Alex Smith as automatic to start chucking it, and I think it's getting away from what made them successful. Moss adds the dimension of a locker room problem and I almost don't expect him to be on the team when they visit. Really, he is not going to be happy with Alex Smith trying to deliver the ball. He'll be dogging it. Harbaugh will throw his ass in the Bay.

The Baltimore Ravens are definitely worse off this year. First, the Baltimore Ravens offensive line is weaker with the departure of offensive guard Ben Grubbs to unrestricted free agency. Second, not one player on the roster can replace Terrell Suggs on the Baltimore Ravens defense. Third, the Baltimore Ravens defense will miss veteran outside linebacker Jarrett Johnson, especially against the run. Fourth, the Baltimore Ravens defense lost veteran defensive lineman Cory Redding to unrestricted free agency. Finally, how long can Ray Lewis and Ed Reed play at a high level?

The schedule it what it is...at this time its not tough nor is it really easy because we have no idea what these teams will do right now...some will surprise...others will dissapoint.

My Brain tells me this is a 12-4 team with little to no major injury.....an 8-8 to 10-6 team with a Brady or Wilfork season ending injury and a 14-2 team with no injury and improvement from the secondary.
