Let’s talk special teams

Google is a great resource for these types of questions.
Great way to not answer his question. And you wonder why you get into it with people..

It is an interesting situation at RB. I see Ridley, Vereen, White (and Devlin) as pretty sure things, with Finch as a long shot. White replaces Blount but they are different kinds of backs. If they cut Bolden after letting Blount go, that leaves them very thin at lead back should Ridley get injured or drop the ball. One thing I'll watch tonight is how White and others look in pass protection.
I do not see Develin as a sure thing, I am not sure when he became the next Mike Alstott in everyone’s mind but he is a played 25.8% of the offensive snaps and 24.9% of the special teams snaps in 2013. He carried the ball 4 times for 10 yards, and caught 4 passes for 62 yards. He is far from a lock, he is 50/50 in my mind, he is a hard worker and I hope he makes it but the 3 drops in practice the other day is not helping his cause.

They can use Hooman as the lead back if need be, so if it comes down to Develin or Bolden I am going Bolden.

That was just a passive aggressive way of him trolling me, I am not feeding into his nonsense. As far as getting into it with people, you get into it with more posters than anyone on this board, so glass house my man. If you are wondering why you get into it so much it is situations like this where you insert your 2 cents into something that has nothing to do with you. Go talk about football, do not worry about how I answer Ray’s questions.

Also for the record I do not wonder why I get into it with so many people, because it is not so many people, it is 5-6 posters repeatedly because they have a hard on for me.

Gotta love the your POG attitude. People have a "hard on for you" because that is how you act. You think you can tell people what to do and that they should listen to your sorry arse, whether or not you know what you are talking about.

And no. I don't get into it with more posters than anyone. That is you not know what you are talking about. But that it typical of you.

BTW, you posting in a public forum makes it the business of everyone who posts. So do yourself a favor and take your head out from between your legs and start acting like a human being. Or is that too much to ask of you?

Oh man I wish I could put my head between my own legs.

There you go with the idiotic exaggerations. No one sees Develin as the next Mike Alstott. But people DO see him as 1) Having improved significantly 2) already contributing significantly, particularly with his ability to line up at FB or TE.

I'll put money that he's a lock over Bolden.

Yeah he is improving, and like I said I hope he makes it, but he is not a lock, and considering Bolden has been on the team 2 years in a row, and been productive both seasons, and Develin was cut and then resigned last season and did not have a lot of production I will be glad to take that wager. How much are we betting?

Umm.. Develin was cut and re-signed before a single game was played last season. And, since you missed it, Develin's production is measured by how well the lead backs do more than receiving and rushing numbers..

BTW, Care to tell me how Bolden has done this year???
