Back to White, the "not a hard worker" knock is a difficult one to ignore. Coupled with the weight, it's a big red flag. I think white is poised to fall now that Vernon Davis has establish himself as a freak, making him a more likely target for Arizona at #10. I can even see him falling to #21, in which case I still think we trade down to the later parts of the round (unless someone like Chad Greenway is still there).
I think the 2005 draft showed that BB likes football players, first and foremost. The RB I think that BB will take a serious look at is Joseph Addai. Addai has a reputation for being one of the hardest working players in college football. His game is similar to Faulk's but he, unlike Faulk, has the body (and the hands) to be a feature back. I think he'd be an ideal fit.
The problem is that Addai's stock has shot since running a sub 4.4 40 at the combine. I don't think he's going to be a 1st round guy, but nobody has him falling past Atlanta at #47. I think if we trade down from #21 (a likleyhood since the best players for our system seem to be borderline round 1, round 2 talent), I wouldn't be surprised to hear Addai's name get called.
My dream scenario is this: we trade town to the bottom 4-5 picks of the 1st round (at that point, we're looking at a group that includes Bobby Carpenter, Davin Joseph, Jonathan Scott, Sinorice Moss, maybe Ernie Simms and Ashton Yobouti). BB picks whoever his guy is (I like Carpenter) then uses the picks he acquired to move up in round 2 for Addai.
