I’m actually going with the Spurs. Here’s how I see it.

Celtics: While it would likely be appealing for him, I don’t see Ainge wanting to blow up his young nucleus, which is likely what he’d have to do in order to land him.

Warriors: Cmon now. He won’t get paid there, and no one will take him seriously if he goes out there. Think he wants to beat them rather than join them.

Lakers: Market wise makes a ton of sense, but way too young of a team. Plus does he want to be involved in with the Ball nonsense? He could bring Paul George over, but meh.

76ers: This makes more sense from a talent perspective, but is also still a very young team. All it takes is for Embiid to get injured again for this to not be a very ideal situation for him.

Rockets: This would be my choice. But Rockets will have to face the challenge of managing affording both Paul and Lebron onto the roster. I think they have a shot, but a lot of questions surround Chris Paul.

So I look at the Spurs, and I see how they still went to the playoffs even without Kawhi. That is obviously the result of great coaching. For the first time in his career, Lebron would have an all time great coach to work with. (Something that the likes of MJ and Kobe had through much of their careers) Give him the excellent Spurs depth, along with another star to work with in Kawhi, and I think this destination makes a lot of sense.

Thoughts?

I don’t think popovich will let Lebron coach the team so San Antonio is out.

My guesses in order:

1. Philly
2. Lakers
3. Rockets

He's going to the Clippers, aka, Cleveland West. Wouldn't that be something if the effin' Clipper win an NBA title?

the Kings because hes “King” james

Lebron would no doubt have to swallow a bit of pride in that regard in order to join them.

Perhaps Lebron would feel less of a need to override the coaches with a guy like Pop in charge, but who knows.

I don't think it's a matter of "blowing up the young nucleus" as they could probably do a trade of Hayward-Morris + pick or Kyrie-Morris- Rozier to make this happen.

I think it's more a matter of:
1- Do they want to deal with LeBron's prima donna BS?;
2- Is Kyrie going to sign a long term deal or not?;
3- How does Brad feel about trading Hayward?

Lakers. I believe there’s a chance Durant will be leaving Golden State as well. Not sure where yet.

I think philly would be a mistake unless they traded Simmons. Simmons needs the ball to be effective. Unless they traded Simmons and the 10th pick and more for Leonard.

Somehow i think he pick either the rockets or the lakers.

To team up with lebron? I heard about that one but what money will the lakers have? Soon a guy like Randall will want to get paid.

They actually have a lot of money to spend.
