There was a chatter earlier in the week about the possibility of flexing the NE/MIA & BAL/CIN games to 4:25pm to run alongside the DEN/SD game, but a decision was made to leave them at 1pm.

Broncos would benefit from this as they will know the outcome of these games before their own game starts. If NE wins and CIN loses, it will allow them to rest their starters without having to worry about a ‘must win’ situation.

Coincidence? Thoughts?

There's almost always some team that benefits and usually a west coast/mountain team since their typical kickoff is later in the day. It's just one of those things.

However, this year it doesn't matter because Denver is still playing for the AFC West and KC is also playing at the same time. They are playing for something no matter what.

As much as I would like to think this and **** on the league I don't think so because if it were the case the Chiefs game would be at 1PM also. Chiefs win, Broncos lose, Chiefs win the division.

It's just too bad that the donkeys face a lousy chargers squad.

The can't rest starters because Chiefs playing at the same time. They are in a must win situation.
