yeah but both breaks are 6 month type injuries with men in their 20s. Training camp is 9 months after the break. I mean he has passed the physical, 4 months prior to camp.

Yes! Much more athletic and explosive.. spillane will be a fan favorite guys got a motor that never stops.. the only guy I can see left over is Bentley.. who's a true leader and could thrive under Vrabel.

I think we should match it. He gives a great depth and he is one.of the best STs players on the team. We still have cap space so may as well use it on a player we can use.

I can understand and even agree with those who believe that we should keep him. On the other hand, they could find his replacement (and least initially on ST's) in the last couple of Rounds of the Draft.

No way he is worth that. Hes barely worth a roster spot.

Another player with ties to Mike Vrabel visiting with the Patriots today.

The free agent linebacker was with Tennessee for two seasons, starting 18 games. Many of those came with Vrabel as coach in 2023.

During the Week 8 game against the Patriots last season, he registered 14 tackles. He had 15 tackles the following week against the LA Rams before getting hurt.

Starter potential, if his leg is 100%.

He's gone and replaced by Gibbens IMO. I think it was the plan all along.

Your correct. I'm just someone who likes to see players grow.. I think elliss is a growing player who can really carve out a role for himself under Vrabel.. NFL players work hard and put thier bodies on the line to entertain us.

I like it.

I love what our FO and Vrabel have done with our defense. It looks like the making of a top 10 defense. I love our defensive backfield, and if our front 7 can do some damage we could be really really good on D.

I'd match the offer for Christian Ellis. He made 5 starts (11th most defensive snaps) but had the 3rd most tackles, 6th most solo tackles, tied 5th most passes defensed, forced and recovered a fumble, made an interception, had 2 sacks and 4th most QB hits.

He also played the 4th most snaps on one of the best special teams units in the league.

Vrabel's defense calls for smallish faster more agile LB'ers... and no offense to Gibbens and Spillane (who I think are instinctive players) but Ellis is a better athlete than either of them. He is fast and can fly.
