Mayo isn't even 30 years old yet, why does everyone have him retiring
Because of the severity of his injuries and the fact he's had 3 different major injuries in each of the last 3 years..

Meh. Pepper Johnson came right in and coached. Was an Asst LB coach for a year and then became the LB coach.

People were saying that Mayo should get Graham's job not an assistant position. There is a huge difference between those two.

It's not much a job promotion going to a team that's in a coaching staff transition/overhaul and into a role that is also a position coach. He might feel that he's ready to step up to coordinator and that it will happen quicker in NY.

Giants are expected to add Patriots LBs coach Patrick Graham as DL coach, source confirmed.

Kind of a surprise, most seemed to expect him to be Patricia's successor as DC.

Perhaps he needs a little more seasoning in a different environment. With the Giants, he can coach the DL, adding to his LB coaching experience.

BB may actually have encouraged it, what organization does BB have the most respect for other than the Pats? The Giants of course. Maybe he'll eventually be back after getting some new experience with a new position.
