Giants got a gift call and are now only 2 points down, 16-14.

Jesus, the Browns keep shooting themselves in the foot. After the kick return takes it to the 33, they get called for another unnecessary roughness which moved the ball back to their own 18.

Anyone watching the Saints-Bucs game? Horribly careless ball-handling by Reggie Bush allows the Bucs to come back. The kid just does not seem like a true pro player.

EDIT: should add that by screwing up (on what was a stupid playcall from the Saints bench, I think) he saved the Bucs QB from being the goat, as he took a safety instead of throwing the ball away--adding to his penchant all day for holding onto the ball too long, one of his few bad tendencies on what was a superb day overall for him.

With 0:00 left of the clock, Winslow caught the ball in the back of the endzone, was pushed out of bounds in mid air by three defenders, managed to get one foot in bounds, yet one of the officials who was right next to the play didn't rule it as a force out which would've resulted in a Browns TD.

Browns aren't for real yet.

A game like that proves it. Sure they'll more then likely get a WC spot, but not a serious threat.

Also looks like the Giants look like they're going to win this one.

Yeah, it was a clear force out IMO. But they can't review force outs which are judgment calls.

I don't want a judgment call giving a team a TD on what might have been. I think that was the correct call for my preference.

I still cannot believe that after the gift safety gave them the ball back when Tampa had no time outs, the Saints decide that the best play to run is a double-reverse. WTF? Most bizzare coaching decision of the day. But thanks, guys. By giving us the win, we've got a de facto division title, as we're up three anda half with four to go and such luminaries as the Falcons and 49ers on the schedule.

We could make some noise in the playoffs, I think. Minnesota stands a good chance of ruining the front-runners in the playoffs, too. Dallas and Green Bay are good, but I think there's a better chance of them stumbling than the Patriots.
