He did an amazing job on Cruz. That's the type of receiver he should be covering in the slot. He was super physical with him and kept stayed in front of him. If he can give that type of effort vs guys like Bess, Collie, Royal and others on the Pats schedule next year it would take this defense up a notch.

First they have to get the outside set as others have said. Easier said than done.

Agreed on Cruz but I won't be happy if Arrington is our #1 or #2 corner come the start of next season

Keep him. He does a lot of things well. He tackles, plays physical, competitive, and is normally where he is supposed to be. He is like a more athletic, physically able version of James Sanders playing CB. I think he can really excel if he had better players around him. If we had better safeties, he can take more chances in the passing game and be even more aggressive playing the ball.

He played one hell of a season for his situation, similar to Hobbs in 2007. He's not a #1 CB, he's one hell of a nickelback though.

Next year we could have the most physical CBs in the league if Moore can keep looking like Charles Woodson, and Dowling starts opposite of him, with Arrington in the slot.

Mccourty's positioning will be interesting if he goes to FS full time or stays at CB.

Great #3 corner. If Moore can keep improving and McCourty can get back on track we could have a pretty good secondary. I think a FS would help them a lot as well.

He's good but if he's the best DB on the defense again next year, we're in trouble
