Kraft turning on Brady now too

Now I officially think there's something we don't know about r.e. the penalties and Kraft bending over. There HAS to be something else - has to be. I mean, nothing in the Wells Report warrants this death penalty of a sentence. If there isn't something else, some wrongdoing that we don't know about, then this is the biggest case of "the fix being in" since the Montreal Screwjob!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wonder if TB is going to respond to BK's caving? I pray TB fights. He takes any kind of suspension and he is admitting guilt. The thought makes me sick inside.
Brady is the ideal candidate for the NFLPA. He has been a union guy as the lead plaintiff in the last litigation and he is supported by a smart spouse ( you don't get as far as she has without being sharp)AND he has the financial resources to match lawyers against the NFL...even if the NFLPA is paying Kessler. And he has a strong case to fight based on the merits alone........
If I"m him, I let them lower the suspension hoping he'll take it and then tell them nothing short of full exoneration will be acceptable .....not one penny in fines, not one game of suspension, not one iota of admission of guilt....
And as someone wrote earlier, it will be inappropriate for Kraft to talk to Brady about this. All TB has to say is " I'm represented by counsel, talk to them".

I think the top priority for the NFL now will be to keep Brady from going to court. Now that Kraft has caved I am expecting Goodell to vacate Brady's suspension, and that is the last thing we should want.

The only way we will get any sort of satisfaction is for this to go to court where the league's shenanigans can be exposed for all to see.

Well, going to court and winning would be the best way for people to find that Brady didn't do anything wrong. Those on the fence would probably come around to that view with the suspension removed, but of course many would say it was just a backroom deal. The only way Brady is exonerated is if an impartial third party exposes the frivolity of Wells report. But that would certainly be a huge distraction.

My take on it is this: those who hate will hate no matter what, even if the courts favor Brady. That would reduce the number of haters the most, but they'll still be out there. Given that, I could live with a substantially reduced or eliminate suspension that also reversed the "he was generally aware" claim. The 1 game or whatever could be maintained for lack of cooperation. The Wells rebuttal is still strong and can be used as ammo against those lower-grade patriot detractors, as I already have been doing. I wouldn't like this as much as an exoneration in Court, but I could live with it. BUT, it would make the punishment of the team that much odder--why should they be hit so hard if they were deemed guiltless in the first place, and if Brady was largely exonerated by Goodell? But any degree of exoneration would be better than what is out there right now, even though I think the Wells rebuttal in fact does exonerate--but few people really bother to follow the force of those arguments.

1 game or whatever could be maintained for lack of cooperation. .

Consistent discipline days that they can't suspend Brady for that, since they didn't suspend Favre back in the day.
