Kraft Orchids Case - Prosecuters Want a Tug Rule?

Your entire post, because I have no clue what point you're trying to make. Are you saying it was proper for LE to make this big thing about a sting on a human trafficking ring when they can't really do anything about it? Have you seen any evidence which suggests local LE is referring this to the Feds? Further, what sense would it make to make this public and then go to the Feds? It gives the perps a head start to flee, obstruct and dispose of evidence. So, your entire post confuses me, because I'm not sure what point you're trying to make. Enlighten me.

Perhaps you should educate yourself rather than hug Kraft's nuts.

‘The Monsters Are the Men’: Inside a Thriving Sex Trafficking Trade in Florida

Sheriff Snyder said investigators, who worked with Immigration and Customs Enforcement, estimated the trafficking ring to be a $20 million international operation. Men paid between $100 and $200 for sex, the sheriff said; between $2 million and $3 million has been seized in Florida, he said, including a safe stuffed with Rolex watches.

State Attorney Dave Aronberg of Palm Beach County, whose office leads a human trafficking task force with the F.B.I., said trafficking foreigners to work in places like massage parlors can be more difficult to root out than trafficking, for example, American girls who are recruited in person or online.

“They come from countries where the police are part of the problem, and they’re smuggled into the country,” Mr. Aronberg said.

Laura Cusack, a social worker in charge of the human trafficking prevention and education program at Place of Hope, an agency for foster children and trafficking victims in Boca Raton, said foreign victims were often threatened by traffickers in their home countries.

“They’re told by traffickers, ‘I’ve got people waiting for you,’” she said. When social workers urge victims like that to come forward to the police, they say, “‘No, you don’t understand. They’re trying to find my little sister back home. They’re trying to find my daughter,’” Ms. Cusack said.

I get that point entirely. Loud and clear. No more work visas for 'massueces'. Must be a citizen to work in a massage parlor. Routine inspections with human trafficking hotlines posted in facilities. And most importantly, massage parlors must undergo vetting by the state when opening and when hiring any new employee.

Why punish the masses for what the elite get to do all the time? You do understand is that would hurt the little guy the most right? That is what most of these things do. The elite will always have a way. Secret underground clubs and things of that nature.

Two of Kraft's ladies had licenses and lived permanently in the USA.

The trafficking thing is media on fire BS.

Clearly you are ignorant of the details and are one of the Kraft rump swabs here.

Pat Patriot Denies Being Mascot #5 In Prostitution Sting Police Report

Makes me wonder if BK got a little tuggie before I shook his hand at a Pats rally out here in AZ before a game...

That solves part of the problem, but there are lots of American citizens being trafficked also. Some here and others abroad.

Escort services are legal and commonly found in the yellow pages. I know it's hard for some people to understand this, but anything physical that happens between 2 consenting adults is legal, as long as payment wasn't directly tied to a sex act.

The loophole of ambiguity is likely established so escorts and johns can't go around willy nilly talking about money for sex, then you can advertise deals on flyers billboards etc. and it becomes very lewd and thus is illegal.

One of the nice things about the internet, it seemed to clear up the streets of NYC of streetwalkers as the girls just set up websites. If someone just showed old Bob how to set up P411 account, he wouldn't be in this mess.

INTERNATIONAL human trafficking ring (likely Interstate also) is a FEDERAL mater ie ICE and DHS, not the Jupiter PD.

Which part of this confuses you?
Pretty sure it was local PD who set up the sting and gave press conference etc.

I think all the big alphabet soup agencies were just automatically evoked because term 'human trafficking' was used.

There could be a rogue masseuse who tries making extra money, or a group of women who like making extra money. Not every handy at a massage parlor warrants federal attention.

There was a discussion on npr today about this and one of the women was saying that none of the women involved in the massage centers are saying they were coerced. Even the police are saying there is no connection to human trafficking. The sheriff was quoted as saying he believes the clients are the bigger problem in human trafficking than the traffickers themselves which I thought was a very strange take. The woman from the advocacy group said that position would be analogous to blaming the tomato customer for forced labor at the farm.

Now is not the time or place to quote someone named "Jack" and "Handey"!
Listen to the quote. It gets better.

It's a link in case the way it posted wasn't obvious.
