It's true, thoughI've heard this argument before, and I just don't buy it.

Polian put together some good teams with the Bills, Panthers (1996) and was okay with the Colts. I say okay because Polian was a big reason for the Colts demise. He had some pretty awful drafts.I have answered this in the past but you have to factor in giving the other GMs Brady for 20 years, the GOAT QB on discount deals. If you do that then I would put:
Polian
Loomis
Wolf
Beathard
Davis
If picking from current GMs, I think Ballard, Veach, Loomis, Colbert would have had tremendous success over 20 years with Brady as their QB.
If the game was 15-9 then sure it was a defensive win. But the Bucs were just as dominant on offense as they were on defense hence Brady winning SB MVP. It did help that the Chiefs did not have either starting tackles but it didn't matter, even if Mahomes had gone off, Brady and the offense had its way with that defense all game until it decided to run out the clock the entire 4th quarter. You’re right, Mahomes rarely puts up more than 9 points against anyone, and Brady had 23 tackles, 8 pressures, and 5 sacks, he was the offensive and defensive MVP.
Now imagine Polian, Loomis, Ballard and Wolf with Brady. That is the part that is so key here. When you have the GOAT QB for 20 years and he is not taking his market value, you have a bonanza of riches as a GM.Polian put together some good teams with the Bills, Panthers (1996) and was okay with the Colts. Eh on Loomis. He had some underwhelming teams for years and was on a bad streak (and could've been fired during that time) until he kicked his slump in 2017.
Wolf found Farve and put together some damn good teams. His departure led to their decline.
Colbert has found a ton of talent with the Steelers. Quite shocking that D with all that talent slapped around by the Browns. They also have a declining QB who doesn't seem like he really wants to be there.
Ballard is okay.
Too early on Veach.
I'm drawing a blank with Beathard and Davis (Al?)
This. They seem to forget that part. The bucs basically went run only in the second half or they probably could have scored 50 on the chiefs. The offense got them that lead which allowed the defense to put their ears back.If the game was 15-9 then sure it was a defensive win. Exactly. Heck, if RoJo just extends his arms on the 4th and goal, it is 28-6 at the half.This. They seem to forget that part. Not to mention RoJo getting stuffed at the goal line early in the game and the Chiefs couldn't take advantage of that.This. They seem to forget that part. Wolf and Polian with the Bills would've been the best with Brady. Now imagine Polian, Loomis, Ballard and Wolf with Brady. That is the part that is so key here. When you have the GOAT QB for 20 years and he is not taking his market value, you have a bonanza of riches as a GM.
Impressive on Beathard.Bobby Beathard, he was a GM for almost 40 years - his teams competed in seven Super Bowls (winning four times), beginning with the Kansas City Chiefs in 1966, Miami Dolphins in 1972 and 1973, Washington Redskins in 1982, 1983, and 1987, and the San Diego Chargers in 1994.
Davis is Al Davis.
Really the only blemish for the Bucs that night. Not sure why Lenny wasn’t in on that play. Not to mention RoJo getting stuffed at the goal line early in the game and the Chiefs couldn't take advantage of that.

Had anyone else other than Belichick been coaching the Patriots vs the Seahawks the Patriots would have lost that game. Their offensive game plan was brilliant, and his defensive call on Butler’s interception was one of the gutsiest calls of all time.It was both.
And Reid too for leaving both overmatched tackles on an island. He's not really the greatest at adapting on the fly.
Put Reid on the Pats and the Seahawks SB is a loss, and maybe even the second Rams one.
FYPHad anyone else other than Brady been the QB the Patriots vs the Seahawks the Patriots would have lost that game. Brady destroying the LOB in the fourth quarter was brilliant, and his defensive call on Butler’s interception was one of the luckiest calls of all time.
What a play by Butler though - he had to pick that ball not just knock it down or they likely lose.
They practiced against that play all week, and Belichick pushed Carroll into the call by not calling the time out. Your agenda against Belichick is duly noted though.
We'll never know, but that pick isn't looking so much like a fluke anymore given that Russell Wilson has been a choker since. What a play by Butler though - he had to pick that ball not just knock it down or they likely lose.
I think BB would have heard the loud catcalls if they scored and the Pats never called the timeout.
Still waiting for you to list all those GM’s with greater accomplishments than Belichick? Maybe when you take a break from licking Brady’s balls you will have the time to post them.

No question about it.Interesting read:
Michael Lombardi sheds new light on why Bill Belichick didn’t call time out at end of Super Bowl XLIX - Pats Pulpit
If they scored though Bill still would have never heard the end of it. 4th and 2 but way louder than that.
How was it a “ fluke” when Belichick had them practicing against it all week? That was a perfect defensive call, and Belichick not only had them ready for it but he pushed Carroll into calling it.The fact that some here don’t give Lichick for it shows just how deep their hatred of Belichick, and just how biased against him they are. We'll never know, but that pick isn't looking so much like a fluke anymore given that Russell Wilson has been a choker since.
