Why don't they rotate guys like some credible head coaches, former players who speak well to compliment Chirico and Jaws... Kornheiser cannot leave soon enough he talks toooo much about nothing.

WAY better than what they had last year. I don't think Kornheiser is that bad. I wouldn't run him out on a rail, but I wouldn't renew his contract either.

Frank Caliendo would be fantastic as a MNF commentator. His 'FrankTV' is too forced. If you listen to his earier work doing radio call-ins, it is funny as s.h.i.t! His best format is looking like himself (he has to lose the stupid makeup) and jumping back and forth between voices unscripted. He has a great sense of humor, but FrankTV is a horrible, horrible format for him IMO.

Actually MNF is dying a slow death right now,.....Kornholer needs his ***** kicked and is a moron,.,....Tirico and Jaws were absolutely AWFUL last night....I watched the game (on and off due to chest pain ;0) with the sound OFF all night.....Early on I wanted to reach through the TV and get Kornholer by his little turkey neck and beat his a##,......He said so many insulting things against the entire Pats organization.....These guys all suck...I thought alot of Jaws up until this year......now he is looking to get his fat bloated face in the news too often......pathetic

Please, please, please, no more comedians. No more gimmicks. Just stick to the football. The game is entertainment enough for me. Jaws is a good commentator and his color is mostly pretty insightful, but he's terrible when he's basically Ed McMahon to Kornheiser's Carson, just there to laugh at all his jokes.

I think if they just got rid of Kornheiser, Tirico and Jaworski could make a good tandem.

Other things to get rid of: the sideline reports, and the ridiculous starting line-ups with some player trying to be clever with nicknames. Just tell me who's in there, please.

One thing that's been good about the Pats' recent success is that they've been getting the a-team as far as announcers go more often than not: Nantz/Simms, or formerly G. Gumbel/Simms. Certainly beats the hell out of Don Criqui and Beasley Reece week after week.

This is a GREAT idea. Two regular hosts and a rotating third "color" guy.

Perhaps a former coach or player of the home team. A personality with some sort of sports/football knowledge/interest. Someone to give a "fan-friendly" perspective or ask the "stupid" questions without feeling the need to butt it or go on tirades.

But, NOT someone on the circuit to push a new movie, etc.
