For whatever reason, both the NE OL & DL really played much, much better in the 2nd half and IMO this was why the Pats were able to pull it out.

The OL was completely abused by Freeney & Mathis in the first half. In the second half, I don't recall them getting much pressure on Brady, esp. in the 4th quarter where the game was won.

Not sure if it was protection/scheme adjustments, or the smaller Colts D was just pushed around by the Pats OL. I read a quote from Light that he felt they were getting tired toward the end, so maybe it's more the latter than former.

As far as the DL, after getting completely gashed by Addai in the first, they really held him in check in the second. Again, not sure if it was scheme or conditioning.

I'm thinking in the case of Addai, the coaching staff clearly recognized that the Indy O was running through Addai and made the necessary adjustments.

Anyway, just felt it worth pointing out in this sea of NoiseGate what I thought was the key to victory.
