Patriots Player Departure Keion White traded

I think you misread that.

SF gets: White, 2026 7
NE gets: 2026 6
They should have thrown in Dugger instead of giving up the 7th rounder. That way we could have picked up that *valuable* 6th rounder clean for “just” two former 2nd rounders…. If my count is correct, when Dugger disappears that’s (4) recent 2nd rounders cut or traded for late round picks the past year and a half. Pitiful, PITIFUL drafting…….

Not crying over this, I think he just did not develop, perhaps he will in the 49's. I would be surprised if he did though.
I think its not about development, but more about using him in a manner that benefits his skill set... i think a fresh start in SF will help him get out of whatever funk put him in the doghouse here...

They just traded him too lol

2022 second round - thornton - traded for peanuts
2023 second round - keion white - traded for bag of chips
2024 second round - Polk - traded for candies

Hoping henderson to break the curse. At least he performed in one game . White had 2 decent games in patriots career. Thornton and Polk none .

hate this trade. no return for white. just hate it

Nu? We got next to nothing for next to nothing. What'd you expect in return?

I wouldn’t worry about it. All of those are pre-Cowden. Wolf is more of an exec at this point and not actually the guy making the big moves. I am guessing Wolf will move on in a couple years and Cowden will take his job.

HTH is wolf still around .

One thing I can thank him is to make sure he stuxk on with Maye with all the trade options unless it was kraft who put his foot down and stated no trade down and we need a QB.

Wolf has generally signed some pretty good contracts too. Some were really bad, like Dugger’s (that was REALLY bad), but in general they’ve been pretty good value and team friendly. Likely good with agents. I would say overall that is his strength. Not picking players.

The last remnant of a litany of Belichick draft misses.

To think he was going to draft White in the first round. Reminiscent of the Strange pick.

Once a guy is a bust, it does not matter what round they were picked

Unless its a qb, they are not getting anything of value

As a big "In Bill We Trust" guy, the last 5 years of his coaching/GM responsibilities were downright negligent. He completely lost it and had to go.

Only barmore was good.

Duke dawson
Joejuan
Kyle dugger
***Barmore***
Thornton
Keon white
Jalynn Polk ..

I hope I made everyone's day by going through revisionist history
Terrance Wheatly
Cyrus Jones
Aaron Dobson...
Yuck.

They just traded him too lol
Unreal! Appears they got the same “package” (6th rounder for Dugger and a 7th)… WOW! Do we know how to get *value* selecting 2nd rounders!

I'm still rooting for him, mainly for my ego in thinking he'd become a solid talent.
