He was breaking ankles out there Today: he's getting better weekly. And we can say he's been Maye's favorite Target no offence S Diggs.
He's also tied for 10th in the NFL with 20+ yard plays. 7th in TD's.Now on pace for 915 yards and 10 tds

Both great comps.People will throw up at the name but I see 2014 LaFell in him. David Givens is a comp that will make people feel a little warmer and fizzier maybe. I don’t see a “breakout” waiting to happen with him, but I do see someone who could poised to just have a super solid 10 year career and I’ll take that all day.
Boutte will be our leading WR after next week Book it! Boutte is on the verge of being a very good WR. We are shocked around these parts knowing our young WR history. Y'all need to pay attention to his Route Running he's running all the Routes. Diggs really took him under his wings and Boutte is playing very confident. Boutte had one drop yesterday and more than made up fo it. 18.7ave is pretty sick for a guy who's not a finished product; there is more to him.People will throw up at the name but I see 2014 LaFell in him. Imagine if buzzkill BB had played him his Rookie year: he probably would have been further in his development.I love how all the people who were counting Boutte out during OTA's or even early TC are now raving about him.
Meanwhile, when I said he'd be our most productive WR this season during camp, people mocked me.
Yes, just a shameless brag that I saw this coming and have been ahead of the curve in my evaluation of players since I started seriously following the team in '94.
It's funny... for as bad as they were drafting WRs under BB, Givens (2002 - 7th), Edelman (2009 - 6th), Boutte (2023 - 6th) is actually a damn haul of late round finds. It was the early investments they sucked at outside of Branch in 2002.It's safe to say Boutte has broken the WR draft curse.
To be fair... a big factor with Boutte was how he humbled himself and going through a rookie year not playing could have been a bigger part of that personal growth that we realize. If he just got playing time right away, the message might not have really resonated for him that he needed to change his perspective and attitude on things.Imagine if buzzkill BB had played him his Rookie year: he probably would have been further in his development.
We Need to lock him up for Drake Maye: do not wait until his Contract year.To be fair... a big factor with Boutte was how he humbled himself and going through a rookie year not playing could have been a bigger part of that personal growth that we realize. Some of his misses were egregious Harry over A.J. Brown and Tyquan Thornton over George Pickens. Those Two Drafts was when I was Officially done with Four eyes BB.To be fair... a big factor with Boutte was how he humbled himself and going through a rookie year not playing could have been a bigger part of that personal growth that we realize. None of the above, he's Jakobi Meyers.I'm surprised Jakobi's bringing up the back end on that graph. Has he been injured or something? Or is he dogging it?
