Great win last night, and worth staying up all night here from 3.30am- 6.30am to watch what i consider and hope the turning point in this season. But on another curious point, can someone tell me what is the record number of sacks a team has given up for the season ? Our Matt must be going that way becos he is getting sacked an average of 5 times per game,,which makes it around the 80 mark in regular season. I guess as long as we get the win, it doesnt matter but just curious . Thankyou. Bring on the Rams.

Ive looked everywhere (except for 2 sites i cant access at work), and cant say for sure. I thought it was 84 sacks a few years ago on david carr when he was with the texans,,,,,,,but don't quote me on that

I take that back. Carr was sacked 76 times in 2002.

Thanks, but coudnt find anything on Carr's 76 sacks in 2002. Sure hope Matt doesnt break That record !! Our OFF. line is doing a better job and if only he can read the blitz quicker i think he'l be ok. GO PATS. abdul
