Just added NFLN

I have Comcast and lost the NFLN in July, when it went to their sports tier. I finally broke down and added it yesterday. I got the 3 month $4.99 special too.

I wanted it for the season, and in my latest bill they said that starting on August 6th, they were going to realign everyone's On-Demand access.

They were going to make sure you only had access to what you were subscribed for and since I no longer had NFLN, I would lose it. So I signed up to prevent that, and to see the Hall of Fame Game (crappy). I will probably turn it off when the season is over.

Can you get all the sox/Celtics games with the FSN package? I would get DirecTv in a heartbeat with the NFL package if I could get the games....

I don't know about an "FSN package", but I know you get both FSN and NESN (if you live in NE), and those two stations carry basically every Celtics, Bruins, and Red Sox game.

Edit: as the other poster noted the regional sports stations you'll get depends on your region. If you live in NE than you'll get both NESN and FSN with some of their base packages, but if you live out of the region than you'll likely have to buy some of their season passes to watch those games.

OT: Where I live all the Patriots preseason games are being broadcast in HD.

I live in Virginia now, so everything is "out of market for me" so i have to purchase the special packages: NFL Sunday Ticket ($240), MLB Extra Innings ($160), ect... I get the "sports package" for $12/month and that gives me all the sports channels: soccer, ESPNU, YES, NESN, all the FSN's, ect.... so i can see all the regular programming. Once a game starts it's blacked out unless I have purchased the baseball, ect...package. If you are local to NE then you will get FSNE and NESN included in the base package and you will be able to see all the regular programming included. (i get to see all the o's, nationals, ravens, redskins )

I would like one day to see Directv come out with a package where I can purchase to just follow one team. I know I get all the games on MLB Extra Innings, NFL Sunday Ticket, ect...but I only ever watch the pats, sox, ect...so i wish i could get a cheaper alternative for just NE teams.
