Patriots Player Departure Josh Gordon Stepping Away?

Again, I didn't say that? You just compared domestic assault to addiction which is a clown comparison. I'm simply calling it out as a clown comparison.
Well it wasn't domestic assault, just because it's a woman doesn't make it DV. What I am saying is Hunt did something very stupid and he gets called stupid. Gordon has done tons of stupid things but cant be called stupid because he didn't hit a woman?

Hitting a women is worse than letting the poor Patriots football team down by abusing drugs. It's not even a comparison. If you think they're the same then we were raised differently so whatever. Gordon has never been suspended in the NFL for violent actions so that's kinda a moot point. I'm arguing his actions are stupid cause of addiction, Hunts are because he's a trash human.

I don't know how much more simple I can make this, Hunt is an ******* for hitting a woman, Gordon is not allowed to be called an ******* for the 900 times he has screwed up. I am not trying to lessen what Hunt did, I am trying to say that Gordon is also an ******* even though he didn't hit a woman. I am not saying Josh Gordon did anything worse than Hunt because he didn't. I am saying that Hunt gets crucified publicly (completely deserved) but Gordon gets a pass, every, single, time.

How did he get a pass? Because people actually want him to get help? Last time I checked he was indefinitely suspended and is getting killed on every sports talks show

Who is killing him? Steven A Smith? Who then got his finger wagged at him by others in the media for not being sympathetic to poor Josh. He was getting help. From the Browns, from the Patriots, from rehabs and counselors but in the end of the day he doesn't seem to want to change.

I am assuming this is directed at me since you took the time to dislike all my posts. I have no idea how you got internet tough guy from anything I said.

Directed more at Triumph.

So being an addict absolves you from any scrutiny for your actions? You can screw up over and over and play the addict card and no one can call you out?
Agreed. Anyone who has actually experienced a recovery situation knows that accountability is paramount. It’s the people who refuse to show any compassion whatsoever (extreme) and the people who continually hide behind their excuses (extreme) that need to rethink their stance. Anyone with common sense will likely see things in the middle.

I felt for him after his GQ interview when he came clean about his past and how he is trying to deal with things and learn to cope. I found it slightly disrespectful to the Browns the way he went out but just figured it was the Browns being the Browns most likely. Then he gets another chance in New England and he doesn’t make the most of it. He’s had chances but he doesn’t seem to be intent on changing yet.

You can’t argue with that. He has not decided that he wants to change yet. Here’s hoping that he finally does, and soon. As far as football goes, I doubt he’ll ever play again. He wasn’t in good shape now, let alone a year + from now, and that was before he screwed up yet another chance and word came out that he literally had people following him around.

It’s hard to imagine someone else giving him another chance, although I hope that I’m wrong for his sake. My concerns are for something much bigger than football.

i hope that Josh enjoyed the Patriot win

pity and sad that he was not a part of it

i still wish him all the best and i missed his jersey nr 10 on the field

Stop comparing the two. Hunt committed domestic violence (another person). Gordon's act was selfish as he committed an act against himself. We can take the human element out of the equation and say that both players hurt the team. But then, we might be considered a homer.

Like I stated earlier.

Gordon loves to surround himself with emphatic fools.

You're hired moron.

Edited; nevermind not worth it. Merry Chirstmas

I had to check in to see what’s being bickered about. Seriously, why are we still arguing about this?
