Well, there isn't any. But at the same time, Belichick chose to have these 4 people on his staff this year in lieu of all the people that would be coming in. So to say that it could affect them adversely, at least in the short term, isn't being irrational. We obviously hope it won't.

Fears is still here too. We may not have the best running game each year, but except when we run the ghost of Stephen Jackson it hasn't been horrendous either. And RB blitz pickup has really been a strength of this team during the last two decades.

BB must have known about Boyer leaving prior to the announcement if Schianno getting his job. That better explains the hiring of Schianno rather than going from within for the new DC.

Losing Boyer bothers me at least we have developed some really good UDFA CB's. On Chad O'Shea he couldn't leave soon enough haven't developed a young WR since the pronouncement let there be light. O'Shea don't let the door hit ya where the Dog shoulda bitt ya!
