I don't like the glazing Kermit gets but he at least wins can't take that away from him. Fraudgers never won **** after 2010 but was always treated as a God
Yeah Kermit’s team/coaches do get it done. Imagine if he was drafted by the Jete?

They were pretty screwed either way.

He was a locker room cancer, but he was at least a serviceable veteran QB.

Now he is going to be a huge cap hit spread over the next two seasons.

But, I suppose if I was a new coach, I'd want him gone.

Now, Glenn gets a year with no expectations because they have NO ONE at QB.

They also have poor draft position in a poor year for QBs so unless they are crazy lucky they won't find one in the draft.

Glenn can try to build a defense while losing lots of games and getting some decent draft picks.

Then he gets to draft a rookie QB and gets another year or two to try to make something of it.

But, of course, Woody may get a wild hair across his ass and fire them all at any point in time.

Such is life in the swamps of New Jersey.
They’ll also be dealing Adams I bet. Need more draft ammo

They’ll be overpaying the QB that got away, Sam Darnold. It’s always better the 2nd time around.

It’ll be just like old times. Vikings have the talent and coaching to be a top 5 offense. Sam would discover the grass is pretty brown in New Jersey and revert to being trash

That would be a total Jete move.

Darnit fell apart in the playoffs.

Leave it to da Jete's front office to ignore that and think he's their man.

In all honesty a divorce from Rodgers is the best move for the long term health of the franchise. But it’ll probably make for some dire QB play next year.

It could be their bridge to Arch Manning in 2026. It depends how much NIL money Arch can make in Texas, could sway him to return for his senior year. Also would the Manning family allow the Jets to draft him?

Darnold is allergic to the stank, he'd get mono again. Maybe they can re-sign Flacco to go with Tire-Rod.

There's no way on earth that the Mannings will allow him to go to the Jets. Which team was it that Eli refused to play for if he was drafted? Was that the Jets too?

I think LV and the JESTS might become possible landing spots for Sanders.

It was the Chargers, who made out OK from the deal:

The Chargers selected Manning with the first pick overall nonetheless, as the team had a deal with the New York Giants, whereby the Giants would draft and then trade Philip Rivers and a 2004 third-round pick, used to select placekicker Nate Kaeding; a 2005 first-round pick, used to select linebacker Shawne Merriman; and a 2005 fifth-round pick (which was later traded away) to the Chargers for Manning.[76] He signed a six-year, $45 million contract with the Giants.[77]
