Glenn doesn’t understand that the Jets are the football ball equivalent of the Washington Generals, except worse because the Generals are part of the act and know their job is to lose. The Jets just do that naturally. Announcing that you’re the NYJ is a bad thing, like a restaurant owner telling his patrons that his kitchen has failed multiple health inspections. Since 2009 every AFC championship game has had Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes, or Marc Sanchez. So the Jets got that going for them.

The funny thing is that the Jets only made it in 2009 because Indy tanked to get them into the playoffs instead of Pittsburgh, who owned Indy almost as much as the Pats. It almost worked but Indy lost on Manning's pick 6 vs NO in the SB.

I can’t stomach either glazing variety. I’m just surprised the Jets are moving on when you consider what Rodgers was able to achieve in his stint with the JETE.

I don't like the glazing Kermit gets but he at least wins can't take that away from him. Fraudgers never won **** after 2010 but was always treated as a God

They were pretty screwed either way.

He was a locker room cancer, but he was at least a serviceable veteran QB.

Now he is going to be a huge cap hit spread over the next two seasons.

But, I suppose if I was a new coach, I'd want him gone.

Now, Glenn gets a year with no expectations because they have NO ONE at QB.

They also have poor draft position in a poor year for QBs so unless they are crazy lucky they won't find one in the draft.

Glenn can try to build a defense while losing lots of games and getting some decent draft picks.

Then he gets to draft a rookie QB and gets another year or two to try to make something of it.

But, of course, Woody may get a wild hair across his ass and fire them all at any point in time.

Such is life in the swamps of New Jersey.
