One team is mostly young and spent very little money. They're not good now, but if their pieces develop and they spend well in the next couple years, they could be good.

One team is very old and went "all-in" this year. They need to win now because their window will slam shut after this year.

It would still be wrong, but I could see someone making a "pump the brakes" argument if the Jets were undefeated this season and on a record setting pace offensively and defensively. But to argue that you can't criticize a 2 win team that was all in this year and has already fired their coach? On a Patriots board? Pure nonsense.

It doesn't matter what the Patriots are up to. The Jets suck today. They sucked yesterday and they're going to suck tomorrow. That was true 20 years ago and it's going to be true 20 years from now.

I thought it was a great call. The DL definitely wrapped up the QB, turned him sideways and dropped all his weight onto his shoulder in an attempt to injure him. That was textbook roughing the passer and it's one of the easiest calls to make.
