Baker Mayfield was dogshit, and still the Jete got crushed. At home. By a team that's won 9 of their last 50 games. (2 of those wins are against the Jete at Jetlife)

Luke Falk drafted 199 overall and a tall lean pocket passer, weird.

I hyped this guy up big time during his sophomore season, he seemed to regress slightly throughout college. I'm looking forward to seeing him play next week. Cant lie, I hope he does mediocre.

Cover 13 is coincidentally what the JETE call their prevent defense. Fortunately, they're never ahead at the end of a game, so we never see the inevitable flag-fest from its use.

The upcoming JETE game is a trap. There is no way to "win," it's already penciled in. This is like the risk of falling asleep at the controls of a partially automated vehicle.

As it would turn out, the foreboding tone that Joe Tessitore used when he described the Jets’ “very difficult stretch” was rather indicative of the how New York would play throughout the ensuing 60 minutes of game time. He’ll likely be worse. He doesn’t have the arm to get the football outside the numbers. Teams will just cut off everything over the middle and force him to go that that way. The Jets’ receivers won’t be able to make the defense pay for that. This could very realistically be another shutout.
