Does anyone else think that Rex and his comments have done the opposite of what he wanted them to do? I mean I believe that he says all the crap that he does to build up confidence in his team but I believe that it has only done the opposite and put an extreme amount of pressure on his players.
I feel this way because of comments of some Jests players, for example Keller "This is our chance to prove that we are that Super Bowl team that we’ve been talking about.”
Jason Taylor on NFL Today about Ryan, "Well, he's certainly writing big checks we have to cash."
And Ray Lewis who played under his foot has said, "The only danger is writing a check you can't cash," Lewis said of his former defensive coordinator. "That's pressure on his players. Rex can talk all he wants to, but Rex ain't putting on the pads."
I think the Jets will come out tight, worry about making a mistake against the Pats and start making mistakes. Then it's all down hill from there... I honestly see the Jests getting blown out in Foxboro once again.
