Dont know where I would rank Holmes, but I had to cut him from my Madden Franchise last year.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but Holmes last year was better than most of that list. Most meaning more than half.

They probably think that the 1 victory by the Pats would be the result of cheating anyway, just like every time we beat them.

Question:
1. What would Mark Sanchez have to do next season for you (and other) Patriots fans to respect him?
2. What would The Jets have to do next season for you (and other) Patriots fans to respect them?
3. Is it even possible for you (and other) Patriots fans to give the Jets or any one of their player any credit?

Convincing me that he didn't assault that woman would be a start. Now, if you mean strictly "on the field" respect, clear and significant improvement in his game, especially regarding reactions under consistent pressure and throws outside the numbers deeper than 5-10 yards.

2. What would The Jets have to do next season for you (and other) Patriots fans to respect them?

Win a lot of games, sweep the Patriots, show true quality against what should be a tougher schedule this year.... stuff like that

3. Is it even possible for you (and other) Patriots fans to give the Jets or any one of their player any credit?

Revis = Great
Mangold = Excellent

That's not just one, but two, Jets players that I think the clear majority of people around here give a lot of credit as being among the top players at their positions. There are other solid players on the team as well.

A number of things:

1.) Win more than 20% of the games where he is required to throw 20 or more times (he was 2-9 last year)
2.) Have a better QB rating than 63 for the season.
3.) Throw more TDs than 12 in a season.
4.)Don't throw the second most INTs in the league.
5.) Show he can be more than a game manager.
6.) Carry the offense even for a single game when the running game is less than stellar.

2. What would The Jets have to do next season for you (and other) Patriots fans to respect them?

Show they were the team they were in the playoffs and not just a team that backed into the playoffs and got hot against a couple of teams that weren't really strong playoff teams.

Revis may be the best defensive player in the game. Mangold is a top center. David Harris is a very good ILB. Shonn Greene was impressive in the playoffs. Sanchez played the game manager role very well in the playoffs. Calvin Pace is a good OLB. Jim Leonhard was a good pick up for the Jets last year.

you say whaaa....?

Nice to hear some un, errr, slightly biased viewpoints. Glad to see some people dont let rival hate blind them from making player evaluations. Did I mention I happen to agree with everything you said.

Well if this does happen, the Jets will still lose the division to the Pats based on strength of schedule tie breaker.
