Wonder if they are going to bring in ray ray now that favre clears 13 and this guy 7M

haha if Lewis comes to the AFC east he'll eat his own words after all that crap he said when Adalius came to us.

Remember when I said all the Jets would have to do is rework some deals cut a couple of players and would be fine with the cap? Well it turns out I underestimated my own team

- New York Jets Football - NJ.com

Jets roughly $37 million under the projected 2009 salary cap of $124 million, but that figure isn't official because the league has to factor in incentives earned by players last season and subtract that number

The Jets have reportedly reworked the contracts of FS Kerry Rhodes and OLB Calvin Pace to save room under the salary cap.
The moves save $9.6 million and put New York roughly $37M under the cap. The Jets could be big players in free agency for a second straight offseason

It would be the only way to help the fans to get over the reign of Mangina

Last line of that quote says it all; big players again this year? So they'll end up with 10 wins instead of 9.

J-E-T-S=trainwreck..............

If the Jets learned how to draft well instead of overpaying for has beens in the league they might be a contender.

Instead they will once again flirt with the playoffs but likely will not make it there again.

No small task!

Word on the street is Ray is headed to Dallas.

Knowing the Jets they'll probably bring in Mike Vick.
