aww sad. thought he was kind of going to amount to more, although i appreciate what he did. certainly won't just remember him for the last 2 years
 
I'll miss him being here though it's the right move. It's really a shame injuries had to hamper him. He was really having a great career here.
 
Thank you for what you gave us Jerod, all the best to U and your family going forward. The memories will last forever....

Too bad.
Wonder if he is the kind of guy that really doesn't care about the money and wants to get back into the game as a coach. From the sidelines this time.

Loved him while he was here. Congrats on the retirement and take pride in all the accomplishments you earned while in New England. Get your body back healthy, relax and do the things you would like to do. Beer will always be free in Boston if you decide to stick around.

On a side note. I'm starting to think concussion awareness, players knowing their bodies and managing finances correctly is starting to get through to some of these guys based on the recent surge of early players walking away.
