Jeremy Hill signs with Pats

Yeah those 3rd and short runs that Gilleslie couldn’t muster. If hill can get those first downs I’ll consider this a good signing. The way our offense runs near the goalline hill better get at least 10 tds.

He will. I can't believe this is even being debated! Folks have lost their ever loving minds in this forum!

Delusional. You sure you know what you're watching? Cause I don't think you do.
yup..good rookie year, very inconsistent last 3 years with long stretches of suckage..watch the tape.

Hello!!!! MCFLY!!! I honestly hope you're trolling at this point.

Chris...you know that'd be at the expense of your Binky...right?
It's possible but Honestly Hill Burkhead White and Gill would be a good combination of backs that could all be on the roster as well.
But yes chances are Gill is traded or released tonight

Let me say I’ll go along that hill doesn’t suck.

But when you use the argument of what he did his rookie season 3 seasons ago it opens you up to counterpoints. Take Trent Richardson for example. Went for nearly a buck and 11 tds his rookie year in Cleveland. And I think we all agree he sucked.
Point taken. However, he did NOTHING after that. Also, averaged 3.6 YPC behind better OLs than Hill had in CIN. Lastly, Hill had better seasons than Richardson EVERY YEAR besides Richardson’s rookie year (950 yards). Yes, we know CLE was/is horrid but don’t forget CLE had some superb/ excellent O-Lineman:

Joe Thomas
Alex Mack
Mitchell Schwartz
Joel Bitonio
Kevin Zeitler

Joe Mixon could only muster 3.5 ypc last season. Tells you enough about their drop off.

Bengals suck. Hill and Bernard in the first 7 games neither had more than 8 carries. In fact Bernard didn't have 10+ carry game until f**king December.

Cincinnati had the 4th least rushing attempts in the league.

Maybe Hill might not work out but the guy is coming from the F**KING BENGALS. Let's see what he can do in a competent offense where the defenses aren't stacking the box because Andy Dalton is the QB and there is only 1 receiving threat.

Thank you.

During Richardson’s full season in Cleveland they did have Thomas Mack and Schwartz (the other 2 hadnt arrived yet). So yes a good OL no question. They also had Brandon weeden at qb so it kinda cancels it out since defenses were gameplanning for the Cleveland run game.

When the Bengals were somewhat competent in Hill's rookie season, he looked like an all world talent. He was explosive, hit the hole, and made punishing runs. If he can recapture that form then he could be the Pats Blount redux. If not, it's a low risk gamble.

Guy has 120 carries for 250 written all over him

Ok, I’ll eat that. My mistake. Point is Jeremy Hill doesn’t suck & Trent Richardson sucks smelly scrotums in the summertime. No argument.
