It's easy, and only takes a few moments. What do you get when you add the one-two punch of Fred Taylor (left) and Maurice Jones-Drew (right) and a coach in Jack Del Rio who is making all the right moves? A Jacksonville upset of New England.
And undoubtedly, Del Rio will have a great game plan because he is one of the best coaches in the NFL.
Funny, Green doesn't mention how the Jags defense can be passed on and how it collapsed against the Steelers in the fourth quarter and if it wasn't for some bonehead calls by Mike Tomlin, the Steelers probably would be going to Foxboro on Saturday.
I think Green may be the moron who called into WEEI several times today who said that the Jags looked like they could play another game right after that game. When they gave up an 18 point lead in the fourth? How was it that they looked that great.
Sorry, even if the Jags can run on the Pats on Sunday, I don't know how they can stop Brady and company. Green talks about how the Jags took away the Steelers' running game and probably will with the Pats, but fails to mention even without a running game the Steelers were able to put up 340 yards and 29 points (should have been 31). So how exactly are they going to stop the Pats from putting up over 30 and how are they going to keep up by running the ball?
Another writer just looking for some glory so he can say, "I PREDICTED THEIR FIRST LOSS!!".
What do you get when you have Tom Brady(MVP), Randy Moss, Donte Stallworth, Wes Welker and the mastermind Bill Belichick waiting for you at Foxboro? A classic New England ass whooping.
The Jaguars went 11-5 in the toughest division in the NFL -- the AFC South -- and would have gone 12-4 had they played their starters in Week 17. The Patriots played in the dismal AFC East. After going 16-0, I will call them the best regular-season team of all time, but six of those wins came against the Bills, Dolphins and Jets, who were a combined 12-36.
To beat the best, you have to play your best. For Jacksonville, that means running the ball, establishing a good short-to-intermediate, high-percentage passing game, winning the turnover battle and having the advantage in the special teams.
