Jason Whitlock - "Tom Brady isn't on Aaron Rodger's Level"

I don't really understand why so many people are declaring Rodgers the GOAT this week. What are they going to say if he loses in Atlanta?

First, I think the world is a worse place every day anyone echoes anything Jason Whitlock says.

As for Rodgers, I think he's an extremely talented QB. But I think you need to win more Super Bowls than Trent Dilfer before you get included in any talk about the GOAT. It's not at the point even discussing yet, let alone dismissing. It's like watching a 12-year old proclaim Odell Beckham is the GOAT. It's embarrassing and not even worth bothering.

I believe when you judge the GOAT, the most important thing is achievement.

Rodgers achievements are good, not great.

Brady's will be the best of all time in achievement when he is done, so comparing the two will not even be close.

There have been a lot of guys with worlds of talent who have never lived up to their billing because they are either inconsistent or do not the that winning at all cost mentality.

Brady is the guy you want if you want to win superbowls.

Rodgers is the guy you want if your playing Madden.

I'm not reading that nonsense, Mehta is just trolling pats fans. The old "X QB would have won more SB's" garbage arguments.

I've been Blocked a total of 3 times on Twitter (that I'm aware of).

Paraphrased:

Me: Sorry [forget to whom I was Tweeting], I know you could care less but I'm not going to Follow anyone that reTweets Mehta.

Mehta: Oh boohoo, like anyone's going to miss you.

Me: Hence the self-depreciating, "I know you could care less".

Mehta: Also its "could not care less" not "could care less". Learn a little grammar.

Me: You are right but "could care less" is also an accepted American colloquialism - In Defense of I Could Care Less

Mehta: Admit it, you got SCHOOLED [BLOCKED]

And I doubt he blocked me because he's a grammar Nazi either.. ;)

Not really. I destroyed Aaron and the Packers 91-36. Tommy and Largette blew some stuff up.

It's funny how can you say that ''Rodgers can make throws that no other player can', one statement that can't be supported by facts, just intangible.

If you make a DVD, just highlights, i bet that Brady has as many or more impressive throws than him.

Media try to antagonize two players that are not in the same shelf, one is the 4x SB champion and the other since 2015 until week 10 (2016) was in a decline

AR makes throws no other human being could make. It's simply incredible watching him running out right and throwing a fastball worthy of Eroldis Chapman on target back to the left.

But that's like saying that receiver X is faster than receiver Y, ergo, receiver X is better. That's not how it works.

Brady wins before the snap. Only other guy of late I've seen do that is Peyton.

Physically, Rodgers is on an exclusive level. So was Jamie Collins.
Genius post.
If you blitz Brady you are done. I dont have exact Rodgers stats at dallas game against blitz, but he was terrible. Falcons arent very blitz happy so he ahs a chance to put some numbers.

Whitlock makes yet another attempt at relevance...

It's been tough since the next generation of sports fans is too young to have watched The Wire.

I know, I know, I know. I am sorry but Jason Whitlock just drove me completely insane.

"Brady isn't on Aaron's level."
"Brady knows he is not on Aaron's level and never has been"
"Brady realizes Aaron is better."

This is seriously hysterical, next-level trolling.

Cowherd at least said, "Why do we talk about Aaron's hot streaks? Cause he has had 2 in 8 years."

This is probably the closest thing to a living definition of "delusional " that you will ever see. If anyone feels this way after reading the following story and looking at the graphic I found on Twitter then they are delusional.

Hail To The Victor: This Erotic Tom Brady Stat Porn Will Make Your Knees Weak

Knowing all this and then making comments like that, Jason Whitlock and his ilk are simply kneeling at the feet of the Naked Emperor and seeing nothing but flowing golden robes.

This is how I watch the Cowherd show:

1. I DVR it
2. I get home from work and right after dinner I turn it on
3. Then I fast forward through the show, coming to abrupt stops whenever Kristine Leahy is on the screen.

Life is better this way.

All those are true... but he also averages about 1 INT per playoff game.
30 interceptions is tied with Favre for Most in NFL history.

Misleading stat, Pitt. Brady accomplished the picks in 32 games. How many games for Favrevrevre again?

Really have no time for Whitless. He's a moron.

The thing that makes me laugh is that the media feels like they have to prove that Rodgers is better than Brady or something. Brady is 39. Rodgers is still at the age where he can be considered in his prime. Of course he should be playing better. I think it is fair to say Rodgers has played better the last couple weeks. But that doesn't mean Brady has played poorly. They are playing at high levels and there teams are winning. But of course Rodgers should be playing better right now. He's what? 33?

One thing has become crystal clear to me this season. People WANT BRADY TO FAIL. They want him to get knocked down. He is hated by everyone. Even some Patriot fans. It's disgusting.

Rodgers= most talented thrower of the football, whether in the pocket or on the run. His ad-libbing ability is reminiscent of backyard football.Beats defenses primarily after the snap.

Brady= the greatest QB of all time. Wins matchups before the snap. What Rodgers does with his legs to open up receivers, Brady does by looking off defenders. Most cerebral quarterback in the game.

Rodgers is the culmination of his physical ability. As his athleticism fades so will he.

Brady is the sum of his intangibles, the stuff you can't see with the naked eye. His football acumen , his drive, his heart. Those are the things that the scouts missed when evaluating Brady many moons ago and it is the same thing they continue to miss when comparing Brady against his contemporaries.

If we're solely talking physical ability sure, Rodgers is the better quarterback

If we're talking about presnap judgements, championships, consistency, playoff appearances, playoff victories, elevating the players around him the Brady is by far the greatest quarterback... EVER.

My take is that Rodgers is the closest QB to Elway that I have seen. On the run he still delivers bullets on target. Throwing back across the field isnt a problem for him at all. Rodgers is the best passer in the NFL right now. Without looking I would bet that he has more deep strikes than Brady.

Brady is the closest QB to Montana that I have seen. Smart, cool, methodical, patient, Field General who is satisfied working his way downfield to pay dirt. When Brady is zoned in there is none better (you can tell by his eyes warming up). A fastball QB that will throw darts virtually impossible to defend. The deep ball really is not his forte.

I believe that both Elway and Montana are the right water marks when comparing Brady and Rodgers.

If we are fortunate to witness it, the only way to settle who is better is to do it on the field. Like Champion heavy weight fighters in the boxing ring. Both realize what is at stake and that there is no tomorrow. If it comes to fruition, it could be the Super Bowl of all Super Bowls.

And we all know Montana is better than elway

I swear Whitlock was recruited into the CIAs mind-control program and has been brainwashed into saying something either racially-controversial or things everyone on the planet disagrees with.

I can't think of a sports writer who I like less than Whitlock.

Why does he continue to have a job?
