Day 11, 1st practice
FOXBOROUGH -- The Patriots have taken the field for their morning practice on the 11th day of training camp. This is the team's 17th practice since camp opened July 28.

The team is in shorts, shoulder pads and helmets. The team is treating today as a traditional Friday during a regular-season week, so the work is a bit lighter.

Defensive lineman Jarvis Green is present on the field. Green was present for the team's first four practices and missed the last 12 sessions.

Players not present include receivers John Stone and Chad Jackson; running back/fullback Patrick Pass; safety Ray Ventrone; offensive tackle Nick Kaczur; defensive lineman Marquise Hill and outside linebacker Chad Brown. Inside linebacker Tedy Bruschi will be out for the rest of the preseason.

With the Patriots trading Ross Tucker to the Browns, jersey No. 69 will now be work by first-year offensive lineman Nick Steitz.
