Edelman had somethiing else too, though -- the intense competitive drive and football IQ to become a successful college quarterback at 5'10" with a noodle arm.

"Successful," of course, is a relative term.

Seriously, though, Edelman's coach said that he wanted Edelman at QB because of his athleticism and his ability to make plays with his feet.

OTOH, Edelman's probably lobbying for Konz as I type this.

If the Seahags cut him and he clears waivers (possible, depending on what he does during training camp), perhaps the thought of reuniting with his roomie Edelman might work.
