James Develin had the most RB snaps and where was James White on the last drive?

Given the size of all 3 of them is pretty small, I assume its some combination of Sony being pretty gassed, Rex being fresh, and Rex being slightly more of a bruiser than White.

I noticed they were going to Rex on more of the "obvious" running plays too. Whenever the Chiefs were stacking the box, they used Rex.

If only their coach had some magical power to literally stop time to give them a breather on the biggest goalline series of their franchise in forever.

I mean, he has to know that he has this problem right? Isn't there a learning annex class he can take on "when to use a timeout"? It has literally dogged him his entire career. It's a contributing factor in at least 3 playoff losses for him.

I mean there is an entire coaching staff that is connected via headsets. Anyone could just point it out to him. But yeah the buck stops with him.

I think Michel was just worn out by the end of the game. White was in there at the end actually, but not so much to run. I think more so to pass protect or run a route. I think Rex had the fresher legs, but it was more of the surprise with him. With Rex, it can be a pass or a run. With White, it is most likely a pass.

But I also want to mention how much of a bada$$ Develin is. He is an elite blocker and did some amazing work at the end there knocking guys back. I wish I could give him his own personal trophy.

Calling no timeouts only work if you have an undrafted free agent db that intercepts the game winning ball at the goal line. Can’t blame the coach for trying to emulate BB. The outcome was inevitable.
