Ex-Patriots Teammate Allegedly Involved In Jabrill Peppers Legal Case
Patriots safety Jabrill Peppers' legal issues appear to be resolved, but his recent trial opened up an entirely new can of worms.nesn.com

Why people failed to see this was surprising to me. Makes me worry for men. It was so obvious. I still remember some folks being really nasty to me when I saw the tea leaves from a mile away. He secured the bag, did not want to get her pregnant, she got pissed and caused a situation that has all of us here. Was looking for a meal ticket with a child period. That failed so next is to use society to get fake sympathy and pressure to get money. He definitely used force to get her out of his room but not because he wanted that outcome but this is what she wanted.Heard last night on the News the Ho wanted $9Mill and an apology. I really hope her Lawyer was Court Appointed.
Presidents talking about smoking weed is the kind of silly that's worth posting aboutI literally was thinking about this while I was posting hahahaha I almost wrote it but I thought it felt too silly
ROFL. JuJu ****ing over the Pats AGAIN.

Outside this situation peppers has been the ultimate team player and professional on and off the field. He's one of my favorite players he lays it all out on the field.. plays the right way and is Rodney type impact on the defense. I am glad he got through this.. with Vrabel he could have him being an all pro.Could be. We'll see.
This is one of the funnier things I've read this year.
Prosecution may be leaning over backwards to show that not even a big name star player for the hometown NFL team gets special treatment. If that's the case, the prosecution should never have brought the case to trial. They obviously had jack ****.
Good point. He could’ve known she likes it and so he got it for her.But he has not been found to be using it - he's never failed a drug test. All that's been proven is that he had some on him. Technically speaking there's no proof he used it.
Lynch mob needs to hang somebody. Prosecutors prefer it’s not them.In a high profile case like this, with a profession athlete accused of domestic violence, the State had no choice but to take the case to trial. Thinks of the outrage that would have ensued if the charges were dropped.
Made for Hard Knocks! It would appear so. ROFL...I can't even on this one...
JuJu is banging this chick on the side, she wants Peppers to raw dog her...which he surely didn't want...and then the ****storm starts when JuJu is callin'.
I’m waiting for the next time Pepp gets to try to separate Juju from a catch. I hope they catch that with a good look on replay.I've always liked Peppers, not only the way he hits but his leadership. I really hope the Pats keep him now that this nightmare is over for him.
If true, Peppers' position becomes clearer. She overshot by about $8.8 million, and that would be with no admission of fault. Still, she could file a civil action. The standard goes from "beyond a reasonable doubt" to "a preponderance of the evidence", but his lawyers will be better than hers. I bet this is over, and I stand amazed that the prosecutor thought this should be carried to trial, now that I know the jury barely deliberated. The evidence must have been weak.Heard last night on the News the Ho wanted $9Mill and an apology. I really hope her Lawyer was Court Appointed.
That's not true. There have been cases like this which were dropped due to lack of evidence. See the 2015 case against Aroldis Chapman. In a high profile case like this, with a profession athlete accused of domestic violence, the State had no choice but to take the case to trial. Thinks of the outrage that would have ensued if the charges were dropped.
That's a miscarriage of justice, then. The prosecution should not take cases to trial when it does not believe the evidence will prove the defendant's guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. Juries are not always reliable.Prosecution may be leaning over backwards to show that not even a big name star player for the hometown NFL team gets special treatment.
It's mistreatment, not special treatment. He should be treated equally before the law.Of course prosecuting a case on thin evidence because he’s a big name when it would be dropped or plea bargained is special treatment.
Tons of plea bargains down to misdemeanors or better for guys in the hood. In fact, that's more common: how else do you think guys have rap sheets with 35 convictions and they are still on the street? But yes, poor defendants get screwed all the time. You are right: our system is corrupt, and God help you and me if we ever have to put ourselves at the mercy of the courts.No-name middle class business dweeb gets the breaks, broke dude from the hood gets plea bargained into a felony by his public defender, rich star athlete has his day in court for a show trial that acquits him in 13 minutes.
Our justice system in action!
