I don’t like to pass judgment on these matters and I’m skeptical of acquittals because it’s so difficult to prove he said/she said. But just 13 minutes of deliberating before acquitting him gives comfort in continuing to root for him as a member of my favorite team.
where did you see 13 minutes? florio said the jury deliberated for just over an hour

I prefer he stays with the team. They stuck by him...I expect him to show his appreciation on the field.

If she lied about what happened and tried to ruin his life, by all means, prosecute her. Where's the evidence?

Him being found not guilty is not proof of that in of it self.
Never said it was. I'm not privy to all the evidence. If she committed perjury or lied to the police -- and they have evidence of it -- she should be charged. Of course, if they had evidence of that, the case would have been dropped.

From this thread.

I just googled it and this article says it was less than a half hour.

“The verdict was read in Quincy District Court at 2:13 p.m. after the jury deliberated for less than a half hour.”

How many players in the NFL who are found to be using coke are subsequently allowed to remain on the team??
Just asking for a friend.
I guess he is OK if he passes all drug tests moving forward.

So we still thinking he's gonna get cut because he had some coke on his person once or nah?
damn straight, coke was the wrong decision.

But he has not been found to be using it - he's never failed a drug test. All that's been proven is that he had some on him. Technically speaking there's no proof he used it.

This team needs talent and This transgression was a minor one which would have been a naught if the lady did not stir up the pot for a wad of cash. Hopefully peppers is wiser after the incident . I am hoping he will be clean and more motivated to show his performance on the field.

If we cannot manage such minor transgressions without firing players not sure what people management do we have. It's life and occasionally sh!! Happens. Move on. Forget and let live..

Keep him if he fits in the teams plan. Otherwise he is pretty easy to move on from. I think the Pats strength at S is a function of the LB play which has not been good for a couple of years. Phillips is another veteran who looked good for the team.

Ready to move on from Peppers. When he came back from his little hiatus he didn't look like the same player and all this crap is the icing on the cake.
What player did look like themselves last year on defense? The CBs looked good and that's about it. I wouldn't be surprised if he looks a lot better in 2025.

Hopefully he learns his lesson and stay away from Gold digging Ho's.

Heard last night on the News the Ho wanted $9Mill and an apology. I really hope her Lawyer was Court Appointed.

Technically?

Thanks

If that's the case, the prosecution should never have brought the case to trial. They obviously had jack ****.
In a high profile case like this, with a profession athlete accused of domestic violence, the State had no choice but to take the case to trial. Thinks of the outrage that would have ensued if the charges were dropped.
