Must note that this was after last week’s game and they won last night. But id say its pretty safe to assume hes not staying in Baltimore lol

Kinda reminds me of peppers saying "we ass" LOL..

Kind of, but at least with peppers it was just a playful comment to a friend. it was really important to likely that he reiterate it over and over to complete strangers lol

Lol, good points there. Differences there. I'm think he's a solid player.. at the TE position as we've had some great ones.. Coates, gronk Hernandez, and Henry is great. I'd like us to add a Bowers like presence at TE..

After he smokes our slow linebackers next week everyone will be onboard with signing him in the offseason

I'm seriously starting to doubt you are a Patriots fan. Like FCB and Captain Quits your comments about the Patriots are consistently negative, and like Sam you are openly rooting for the Bronco's. You might as well just make it official and change to Denver Bronco's Fan.

It seems like there's a cyclical nature of the NFL, i.e. fullback making a long overdue comeback

But I think its just the nature of the available personnel that teams are lucky to have ONE high performing TE, let alone two.

But as we've seen from the Pats' past, having two can really make an offense unstoppable.

We've got Hunter Henry for another season at a pretty great price so I'm sure McDaniels is looking at TEs just as we are. I could see extending Henry in his last season if he's healthy too. I think TE is one of those positions that you try to draft but have to be willing to pay for proven performance.

Likely showed in the game against the Pats why I don't think he's a fit.

Cade Otten, Adam Trautman, John Fitzpatrick, Daniel Bellinger

Under 30. Decent in both run blocking and pass blocking. And at least decent receivers..

I asked a Magic 8 Ball about this. Its response: Not Likely.

A good receiving tight end duo with basic blocking abilities is a cheat code to beat the salary cap today. Brock bowers would not get paid more than 20 million and calvin ridley makes more than that.

The tight ends are getting paid peanuts

Hockenson is being speculated as a cap casualty in Minny. Could there be an opportunity to buy low?

He’d be exciting to see play for the Pats. Don’t know how cheap he’ll be. Likely is the guy who probably played his way out of the kind of contract he was hoping for.

Interesting idea. From what I've read, he's a good blocker in zone schemes but wasn't as good in DET's gap scheme. Seems to be a scapegoat of sorts for Vikings fan because he's limited in YAC and overall just isn't the premier player maybe he was billed to them as. But if he can block in the scheme here, he could be a good veteran TE2 to maybe check that box for us in ways Hooper doesn't while still being a respectable receiving threat. Could be a good marginal improvement.

I think it’s that they aren’t much better or any better than the folks we have. I think ignoring that they are younger, are playing with much less QB/OC talent and that we would be replacing Hooper, probably not Henry

He was very productive in Minnesota couple of over 900yds season. Don't know what happened since but I'm not gonna blame him. I like him when he came out many moons ago.
