Or is it SB or bust for you? I want us to win for a few reasons: A) Brady solidifies himself as the GOAT with no questions. B) We avoid a losing record in Super Bowls. C) Brady doesn't join Elway, Tarkenton, & Kelly as the only other QB's to suffer at least three SB losses. D) I'm a Patriots fan and want them to win!! Your thoughts?

Oh, I'll be proud yet not satisfied with a SB loss.

Getting to the Super Bowl without Gronk has been a major accomplishment. The fact we're the favorite without him also has to be gratifying for fans.

Now let's seize the opportunity and get our fifth Super Bowl. Heck, let's keep the train rolling as long as possible!

A great season yes, an accomplishment no. The Colts are the participation award experts not our New England Patriots. Success is measured in Super Bowl banners here.

Obviously we are all patriot fans so we want to see them win, for all the reasons you mentioned. That said it's just a game and the purpose is entertainment. Have I been entertained this season? Yup, tremendously, so in my mind it has been extremely successful already.

Yes its still a success. Obviously your goal is to win the Superbowl but 30 other teams were unable to even make it to the game. Honestly you would look like a complete jackass to any other team if you called this season a failure just because they didn't win the Superbowl. Not winning would be a disappointment but it wouldn't mean the team overall wasn't successful.

It would be dissapointing for me because that jacka$$ won't be handing the trophy to the pats. I think all those guys will want this badly even more tb.

This could be the last time Brady/Belichick makes it to the big dance together. Is it a success? Probably, but to go down in history as the GOAT and win more Super Bowls than any other QB would be an amazing way to end the season.

If they do win the Super Bowl this year, I would have a hard time being disappointed with the teams future success with Brady/Belichick. What else could they possibly accomplish. Besides winning 6 Super Bowls lol..

It's always superbowl or bust. For every team.

Seriously bro. Who's playing for second?
i think if you offered that jaguars a super bowl loss this year, they woulda been elated

I disagree. The "it was a success since we made it to the playoffs or the big dance" only fits for teams who are still in progress. Miami had a succesful season since they took an obvious step forward. New England has gone to 6 straight AFCCG and 3 superbowls in that span. Simply making the dance isn't enough. Brady getting his 5th and a win is our success because success is defined by the current state of each franchise. If Cleveland gets 7 wins next season, that would be a step forward and a success.

We have all been spoiled. I really love this team alot. I think we're a better team than the falcons but we have to show it on the field.

Yes, this season is already a huge success.

This team has been tough and played with unity all season.

How many full seasons has Brady played like 15? And he made it to 7 Super Bowls thus far.. He has gone to a Super Bowl almost every other year since he became the starter. Thats insane.

Every other season (except the 16-0 season), i'd say, it's a success. But we're so close to having Goodell present that trophy.

5-2 much better than 4-3. Our defense has to find a way.

I really think that could play a huge role. I think these guy's are motivated by that even though they won't admit it.

I know its too early but I doubt this is the last time they go to the Super Bowl, with Gronk coming back next year and with more than likely Bennett resigning with us and possibly Floyd I think we can be just a good of a team next year than this year if those few things pan our way plus whatever Mastermind Belichick comes up with as well
