Is the bye coming at a good time?

I'm thinking good time for a bye. MC more prep.
More time to find out who spiked the defense's Kool-Aid.

haha

Maybe I shouldn't pick on Bru. He seemed lackluster today, but then so did the whole D.

Major moves... Vet QB, Deep route WR, etc...
I don't see a vet QB out there who offers greater value to this season than Cassel. C.J. Jones is the only WR out there who would have any rapport with Cassel at this point of the season. The team could always bring Reche Caldwell back for his size and his knowledge of the offense, but they already have Gaffney.

I wonder if they might offer open competition for the QB spot if this goes badly very long.
Badly? Cassel is 2-1 this season in games where he's been the deciding QB, that hardly calls for major overhaul if you're BB. For more enlightened minds...well, that doesn't warrant consideration **shudder**
Ah, I gotta get out of this forum for the night. Too depressing. My brain's all numb.
Uh, I haven't been reading you long, but how might that be different from "normal?"

Unless we find a new QB in the bye week, it wont matter.

As long as Matt Cassel is our starting QB, we're a 8-8 team AT BEST

Suddenly those games against Buffalo, Denver, another with Miami, Tennesse, are looking way tougher.

If we atleast had someone decent.. servicable. We could do fine. Cassel is as bad as it gets.

And even worst, you can tell his own teammates dont believe in him.

One thing's for sure: if they are gonna go for a different QB, we'll know it in two weeks. This is the perfect time to do it. I think the jury should still be out on Cassel: he was thrown to the wolves by his OLine tonight. Last year Brady had all the time in the world to throw, and when he didn't (near the end of the season, and against Baltimore) his numbers were not great. Yes, Brady can pull wins out of his butt (again, like the Baltimore game), but I think we should give Cassel time to grow.

If Brady comes back 100 percent next year, and we have a good draft, we will kick some butt. After today I am just not sure if we can make the playoffs. Hopefully we will, but it all depends on the OLine (well, and the DLine )

wow dude, did I do something to p!ss you off?

Am I the only one who wants to punch Cassel in the face?

I dont know. Just something about him.

I would love to hear about the guy that tried to punch Cassel and then Cassel beat the living hell out of him.

That would never happen. He'd mistake me for a defender and lob me an easy INT. Heck, that was the most accurate pass he threw in the entire game!

See, the difference between you and Briz is that you're actually funny. Good for you.
