Cap number isn't what he is paid. What is his salarly in 2010? That is the number you should be using to decide if he is worth the money.
What he actually takes home is inconsequential. His cap number is the most important figure when determining worth because that's what has the greatest impact in the team's ability to sign other players and if the situation arises, the cost/gain they face in cutting him. The first year Moss joined the team, his salary was restructured so it was something like 95% bonus so his cap number would be adjusted to a lower figure
