When you judge a legacy, is losing before the Super Bowl better than losing before it?

But after that I quit taking the losses so hard. .

I think the reason the losses after 2011 were easier were because.........

2012 - We got trounced in the second half against the Ravens. When they were so dominant it was tough deny we weren't deserving.

2013 - Again, the final score indicated a 10 pt loss to the Broncos, but for those who watched we know it was never really a game. The Broncos were clearly the better team.

2015 - Tough, tough loss, a game we could have certainly won. This game would have killed me if it was 2011 all over again, but the 2014 victory was able to mitigate the pain from this one and give me greater perspective. It would be incredibly spoiled to cry about NOT winning teh Super Bowl 2 years in a row.

Like Brady said "I would rather play in the Super Bowl every year and lose than not make it at all".

Bill and Tom can make history and put a stamp on it but in actuality they already will go down as the greatest QB/ Coach combo in NFL history. This win "if" they win will just cement there legacy even further.
