Knock if off with the 2/4 stuff, he was here for 5 years. He missed 14 games after suffering a near career ending injury in 2003. He played in 16 games in 2004, 2005, and 2006 before he broke his foot in game 11 in 2007. He played in Superbowl XXXIX.
He isn't coming back at a bargain basement price. He's a starting OLB and pass rusher which are primo positions this off season. Once he feels his rehab is complete he will start fielding offers. Someone who didn't bag one of those in the draft will sign him then. They didn't ask him to restructure, they told him he was not in their plans going forward.
