So a quick browse of the threads shows us pointing the finger at:

Interior rush was non existent, Not enough rotation seemed to be the most logical points.
Explanation: Vince and Kelly were hurt
"Bill Belichick's defenses in the past few playoff years"
might be some logical points to years in the past
Explanation: but not this year it looked like a great D until Vince, Kelly, Mayo, and Spikes got IRed and even may have held together had Talib stayed healthy.
"Time to Get Brady Weapons "
Obviously a valid point when you look at what TB was working with on Sunday.
Explanation: Gronk got hurt, Ahern got Bubba, Amendola played on a torn groin, Vareen was IRed half the year and also had a groin injury on his return, all 3 rookie WR were hurt. Brady himself even played with ligament damage in his hands.
"Does BB trust McDaniel's too much?"
Explanation: Gronk got hurt, Ahern got Bubba, Amendola played on a torn groin, Vareen was IRed half the year and also had a groin injury on his return, all 3 rookie WR were hurt. Brady himself even played with ligament damage in his hands.
"I'll admit i was wrong - Amendola didn't work"
The guy had 50 something catches playing 12 games on a torn groin. Would basically add up to 70 or so over the course of 16. Obviously health was the concern with him when we got him but he won me over a little with his toughness too. Not sure if we can rely on him because he seems snake bit but I am not going to dog him after he gutted out a season on one nut.
"Offense, Not Defense, Let the Patriots Down on Sunday"

Fact is that its rediculous that this team was even able to do what it did despite losing something like 4 of your 5 best players and another 5-10 significant contributers either IRed or playing on significant injuries.

I would say these are your 5 best players and all had an injury with 3 of 5 on IR and 4 of 5 not on the field for Bronco game.

Amendola
Thompkins
Kelly
Spikes
5 significant contributors with Volmer another top 10 player 4 not dressed and one playing on significant groin injury.
And there are still enough unmentioned injuries to compare to most teams in the league.
Bottom line:
Are there things that need to be addressed this offseason?
of course there is
Might there be some tough choices on who you can count on to stay healthy?
Probably
But are there any major problems that warrant this kind of finger pointing?
No way! This team is in great shape for the next few seasons lets assume that we let each of our free agents walk and dont make any big free agent signing this team just by virtue of the players returning from IR would still be one of the best in the league. Obviously they wont sit idle and hopefully they pull the trigger on all the right moves like they did on 07 or in setting up the 01-04 teams.
