Unless I'm overlooking something, the Pats' likely strategy in case of in-game injury emergency is obvious at almost every position.
- K -- Allen
- P -- Gostkowski
- LS -- Ninkovich
- OT -- Williams
- OG -- Fleming or Cannon
- OC -- Kline?
- WR -- Slater, plus don't use sets that need more than the number of WRs available.
- TE -- Fleming as a pure blocker, plus don't use sets that need more than the number or TEs available.
- RB -- At least 3 are active for any game.
- QB -- One of the few mysteries. It's tempting to assume Edelman is the #3 QB, but they might also want to use somebody else and let him have Edelman to throw to.
