If you could have One player from another team...

Well, I definitely wouldn't take Ed Reed since we don't need safeties, especially with Rodney on his way back. I would say one of the following...

Bailey
Gates
Tomlinson
Urlacher
M Harrison

Patrick Willis. The kid's already been sensational, he's going to be a star in this league for a decade. We may not need him this year, but eventually...

Good call. I was dying for the Pats to trade up to get this kid.

I must admit i always wanted TO, but age, salary, temperament etc makes me pass.

count me in for

andre johnson as our #2 receiver

nice choice, but anyone in any team in the whole NFL and you got andre johnson?

I like him a lot and i think he is underrated, but anyone in the whole NFL.

i'm contrarian

the sheeples have annointed ed reed and champ bailey...someone stole my dansby underdog...taylor would have been nice a few years back...urlacher benefits from his line...the manning pick and trade is a nice misdirection...steve smith is a good alternative to andre johnson as a #2 to moss...polamalu may end up getting my real vote...what about ty law...where are the ty law harpies at? nick barnett was another nice thought...hutchinson was another good thought...gates/winslow might be an upgrade...lynch is too old...dawkins? no thanks on bob sanders...hester crossed my mind, but hobbs already took one the distance and is already on the roster...like the adrian wilson pick as well...maybe i'm just thinking #2 wr...roy williams...larry fitz...tons of options, pick'em...

Champ Bailey is not only the obvious choice (he is generally regarded as the best player in the NFL at a marquee position), in this case he is the right choice for the Pats as well.

CB is the defensive position where they have the least amount of depth. Bailey is in the prime of his career, not the downside. And he has the one characteristic that our current CBs (who I generally like) don't...size.

The one area in which I feel like our defense has been exposed at times in recent years is that our CBs can be out-jumped and out-muscled by big WRs--witness Mangini running 2 straight fades against Asante in the Jets game.

So bring on Champ to the champions.

Do you think DeAngelo Hall has underperformed? Not reached or not going to reach his potential?

Champ Bailey hands down.

Champ Bailey or D.J Williams (inside)

if i wanted a safety i would take my chance with Sean Taylor..idc how he did last year, hes doing well now and hes a BEAST

Patrick Willis has done well in 3-4 aswell

Pat Willis...rookie of the week in both week 1 and 2...what a future this kid has.

Who is the league's top-rated left tackle?

Put in my vote for Jason Taylor. Since January, I made bets with friends that within the next three years, Taylor's going to be in a Patriot uniform.

Adam Vinatieri

Brian Moorman, most definitely. He's always giving 110% and has a heated intensity that is unmatched among his football playing peers.

um no. our problem isnt talent. Colvin-Vrabel are very good outside. problem is age and a guy whos gonna want huge money and hes older than the starters already..no thanks

Sorry, had to pick on this....Gates is the most dominant TE in the NFL by far and by the time he's done will go down as the best TE in NFL history. I think an argument can be made that he's already the best TE ever. To say he might be an upgrade is an understatement of mammoth proportions.

I second that choice! Patrick Willis has been a beast and is only a rookie. He would add that youth factor to out aging LB core.

Another rookie I would love to have on this team is LaRon Landry. Could you imagine Rodney and Landry on the same team? Opposing WR's should just lay down and yell mommy if they ever saw that.

Thats your opinion. My take on this is that Taylor will want that Super Bowl ring and there's no sign the Dolphins are anywhere near contention for a while.
