Then I must not have understood the thread's question. I thought the question is asking us in general. I didn't think it was asking in terms of this season. Then I'll add Terrell Suggs, Mario Williams, Jared Allen or Justin Tuck.

I think it is in general but, you know, nobody's adding Peyton Manning.

Offense: Jake Long
Defense: Mario Williams

What would Williams play? Not sure if he'd have the coverage skills to play OLB. Could maybe learn if he dropped some pounds, but I'd prefer someone who we'd know could play in the 3-4.

... if salary were no factor, who would it be? DeMarcus Ware, Ed Reed, Adrian Peterson, Larry Fitzgerald are just a few names that popped into my mind.

A big *sigh* to the first person that says Peppers.

I've been asking myself this question for the last couple yrs. My answers:

1 Troy Polamalu
2 Sean Merriman or Demarcus Ware

Schmeg-what's your beef?

You could always hire an escort if things are that bad.

Haha it just happens to be you the last two times I come down on somebody... better be a coincidence.

I assume you're being a smarta**, but if you're actually wondering why... read the original post, RoughInTheA**er.

if no one has said this i don't know why but how about merriman? best OLB in the game (debatable) in my books

IMO Ware and Suggs are both better than Merriman. If not a left tackle, Ware is definitely where I'd look next.

post roids with that knee injury there's no way I'd take him over a handful of others.

Offense: Antonio Gates
Defense: Ed Reed

Thinking outside the box

OFFENSE: Jason Witten
DEFENSE: Patrick Willis

I wouldn't mind any of the following:

Defense: DeMarcus Ware, Ed Reed, Troy Polamalu, Terrell Suggs.

Offense: Larry Fitzgerald, Adrian Peterson, Jason Witten, Brandon Jacobs.

defense: Ed Reed
Offense: Adrian Peterson
